Philosophy, about art and faith
For some people, Orient and Occident are just definitions, cultural aspects, or different territorial regions which, at first glance, isolate, classify, pigeonhole, and, unfortunately, too often generalize the other. While rationality is the primacy of occidental way of thinking, many consider subjectivity as the dominating factor of oriental understanding, depending on their point of view.
But how to look at a picture, a work of art, a painting, the sound of an instrumental melody, the voice of an opera singer or the spiritual sound of a choir? Within my creative work, my philosophy, as an artist who is at home in both the Orient and the Occident, I do not believe in the single static concept. Orient and Occident are not homogeneous and should define themselves through differences - with the question of what connects us. And when we lack words, lack the language knowledge, lack the shyness that surrounds us, when we don't know what to answer, when we look into each other's eyes and search for peace and friendship, art still remains as a universal, multifaceted, colorful, diverse method. In my case, it is my faith which gives me the beauty of art, in all its versions, with love. A love for my kind of art, morally oriented on the basis of my peacemaking spirituality, which builds bridges, opens doors, gives me peace and, this without exchanging a word, only looking at a work of art from the viewpoint of the observer, makes all parties understand ... without any words ... - this is the "art of faith".
